Pony Pony

Pony Pony is a TV-series about having had enough of being rejected because of short legs and questionable gaits. 

The vengeful, cynical and energetic ponies Cleo, Sally and Zorro want the leading roles in the stable and they are not afraid to use any tricks (even the dirty ones) to secure a place in the spotlight.

 

Pitch

At a completely ordinary riding school with all the drama and hierarchy it contains, the little ponies Cleo, Zorro and Sally live side by side with the big horses. 

It may sound like a chill life being the smallest in the stable - a life where you don't have to perform, but can just enjoy being cute. But for the three ponies it's not a quiet life. It's an eternal struggle to get (with flattery, lies or even force) the luxurious life that they feel cheated of and that only the big horses are allowed. 

With a driving force that consists of equal parts a sense of injustice and megalomania, the ponies have a mission in each episode that sends them on a riding school adventure.

 

The Arena

The arena of the series is the riding school Buckaroo Stables. A microcosm.

There is the pony stable, where our characters can talk confidentially and plot against the big horses.

There is the manure pile, where Guzzy lives. There are the paddocks, which are divided according to how delicious the grass is and where you have an overview of the world on the other side of the fence.

There is the riding hall (the workplace) where the ponies have to trudge around with children on their backs.

There is the large oak tree under which the old mare Lady Marion lives.

There is the luxury horsebox of the premium stallion Eldorado and there is the feed shed, the waterspout rope, and the horse stable.

 

The Pony Pony IP

Volume 1 of the Pony Pony comic book was released in spring 2026 in Denmark.

Volume 2 and 3 are on their way and will be released in late 2026 and early 2027.

The comic books have already been sold to Sweden.
